Homemade Guacamole

Chopping Board





a small handful of mixed-colour cherry tomatoes

1 fresh red chilli

a handful of fresh coriander

1 ripe avocado

1 lime

sea salt

freshly ground black pepper

Jamie's Top Tip

  • Guacamole is a great, quick and easy snack to rustle up when your mates are around. Just make sure your avocados are nice and ripe - this will make it a lot easier to scoop out the flesh and chop it up. 


To make the guacamole squeeze a handful of cherry tomatoes on to a board. Finely chop the chilli (deseed if you like) then finely chop the coriander leaves, including the top part of the stalks. 


Halve and stone the avocado, then squeeze it over the board so the flesh comes out of the skin. Discard the skin.


Squeeze over the lime juice and chop everything together until fine. Taste and adjust the flavours if needed. Serve in a bowl.
