After hearing that Jamie's Ministry of Food Mobile Kitchen was in her hometown in Queensland, Judy, along with her two friends; Brenda and Pat by her side, enrolled in the 5-week cooking course at Stockland Living Newport, Queensland. The three, wanted to come along to learn new skills in the kitchen, and get some spark back into their cooking.

With the support of Stockland we completed a successful 10 weeks located at Stockland Living, Newport. The Good Foundation are pleased to report that during the location a total of 461 participants commenced the 5-week program, with some fabulous feedback and results.

Jamie's Ministry of Food Mobile Kitchen is set to visit Mount Isa for the first time, its 19th location since it commenced its travels around Queensland in 2012. Following huge success in previous locations, including most recently Newport, the Mobile Kitchen will be in location and teaching basic cooking skills from 31st March 2017 to 13th June 2017.

Liam dreams of becoming of a Home Economics teacher when he finishes school. After seeing a flyer promoting the Jamie's Ministry of Food Accelerated Cooking Course, Liam thought it would be a great opportunity to develop some important skills which he could pass on, whilst learning new yummy, nutritious recipes.

Kelly, a mother of 4 (aged between 6 and 14) loves Jamie Oliver and the ethos of Jamie's Ministry of Food. Whilst participating in the cooking course in November, she noticed the great community Jamie's Ministry of Food created. "It was a main meeting point for everyone" she commented, especially for students from some of the local special needs schools she helps out at. It gave them confidence within a safe environment.

Jamie's Ministry of Food Mobile Kitchen is set to visit Newport for the first time. Following huge success in previous locations, including most recently Cairns, Mossman Gorge and Cleveland the Mobile Kitchen will be in Newport from 16 January 2017 for ten weeks, located at Stockland Newport, corner of Griffith Road and Boardman Road. Bookings open on Friday 9th December 2016.

After a successful launch at Edith Cowan University's Joondalup Campus as part of a three year partnership, Jamie's Ministry of Food West Australian Mobile Kitchen is making a move with the next stop planned for Bunbury. The kitchen classroom on wheels will set up shop at ECU's South West Campus in July where it will continue teaching basic home cooking skills to West Australians.
