Next week, 8 - 14 May, is National Volunteer Week - a celebration of the 6 million Australian volunteers and the outstanding contribution they make to our community.

As a not for profit organisation The Good Foundation rely on the support of our incredible volunteers to assist in delivering our community cooking program, Jamie's Ministry of Food across Australia in our centres and mobile kitchens!

We would love to take this time to thank the amazing Jenny from our Wetherill Park Centre.

Jenny is a retired school teacher, when she isn't travelling with her husband Jenny volunteers at our centre. She loved that she can continue to educate and help participants grow within our program. Jenny loves being a part of the JMOF family and we love hearing about all of her adventures and postcards whilst she is away. Thanks for being a part of the Ministry of Food community Jenny!

Our superstar volunteer Joanne, has been volunteering in Ipswich for just over a year and loves taking Jamie's tips and tricks home with her to use on her fresh produce she grows in her garden - her chooks also love our vegie scraps from class!

The energetic Matt a fantastic ECU intern who volunteers in Joondalup, WA. Matt is exploring his interest in nutrition through his studies at ECU, and wanted to get involved because he loves the idea of the Jamie's Ministry of Food holistic approach to nutrition and cooking. 'This is the best job I've ever had. It doesn't even feel like work".
