Discovering a new world of food

This is lovely Amy from Cairns. Amy is not an adventurous eater, and much to her mum's dismay, does not eat fruit or vegetables. Her mum, Samantha, desperately wants to expand Amy's diet and enrolled Amy and herself into the Jamie's Ministry of Food course whilst in Cairns to make better food choices and become inspired to cook at home with fresh ingredients. Despite being hesitant to start with, Amy tried some of Jamie's Evolution Tomato Salad - and LOVED it! She said she was surprised how much flavour the salad had, and also commented on how pretty it was.

Amy also doesn't eat fruit and didn't want to try the berry ice-cream at all. However, with a little bit of encouragement, Amy tried a tiny bit of her Mum's. She liked what she tasted, and here she is with her very own berry ice-cream! This is the first time she has tried berries! Amy has now set herself the task to try a new vegetable each week, and report on it during the class (this week she tried a carrot!). Jamie's Ministry of Food has opened her eyes and taste buds to healthier and delicious meals including fruit and vegetables - Amazing job Amy!
